HOLY WEEK 2023 WORSHIP SCHEDULE:

PALM SUNDAY - APRIL 2 - 8:00AM and 10:00AM

8:00AM - Spoken service with a hymn.

10:00AM - Full Choral Eucharist with Passion of Jesus

TENEBRAE - WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5 - 7:30PM

The service of Tenebrae, meaning “darkness” or “shadows,” has been practiced by the church since medieval timesTenebrae is a prolonged, candlelighted meditation on Christ’s suffering. Readings trace the story of Christ’s passion, music portrays his pathos, and the power of silence and darkness opens our hearts to the significance of His redemptive love.

(Live Streamed)

MAUNDY THURSDAY - APRIL 6 - 7:30PM

Within this strange custom, washing the feet of another lies the source of the name of Maundy Thursday. Maundy, from the same root as “mandate,” refers to the commandment Jesus gave his disciples on the night before he was crucified: “Love one another.” This service not only commemorates the "mandate" to serve each other, but also remembers the institution of the eucharist. (Live Streamed)

GOOD FRIDAY - APRIL 7 - 12PM and 7:30PM

12PM -  Service is without music and is followed by Stations of the Cross (Live Streamed)

7:30PM - Full Choir and Music to remember the crucifixion of our Lord. (Live Streamed)

EASTER SUNDAY - APRIL 9 - 9AM and 11AM

Both service are with full choir, brass, and organ to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus!  An Easter Egg hunt follows both service at the Rectory.  (Live Streamed)
