Welcoming Prayer
Holy Spirit living within us, guide our hearts and minds as we welcome today all those who worship at Trinity-St. John’s.  Give us discerning hearts so that everyone who crosses our thresholds feels welcomed in the spirit of love.  Help us to recognize each person as an individual sent by you who will enrich our lives.  And most of all, O God, let this be a place of love and acceptance of all your children; in the name of your Son our Savior, Jesus Christ, amen.

Our young men and women in the Armed Services:

We ask that you pray for peace in the world and remember in your prayers our families and friends in the military.  Please pray for Capt. Josep Pruden, Luis A. From the Rector

·        I ask that both prior to the start of service and following the Eucharist (before the closing prayer) that silent meditation may be maintained so that those wishing to be in the presence of God may do so undisturbed by others around them.

·        As Mass starts promptly at 10:30 AM, I ask all members be on time so that those currently seated may not be inconvenienced.

·        I ask the congregation to please refrain from excessive movement (getting up and down) during the sermon or during the prayers unless it is absolutely necessary as it is distracting for the preacher and congregants alike.
